Russell Jackson   owner of Music Is My LIfe, is a seasoned versatile and talented entertainer. Hailing from Chicago and coming from a musical family, Russell has been performing since the age of six with such great performers as The Staple Singers, Jerry Butler, Sammy Davis, Jr., Bobby Womack, The Fifth Dimension and Mahalia Jackson. He also toured with the Broadway hit "YOUR ARMS TOO SHORT TO BOX WITH GOD" starring Stephanie Mills, Teddy Pendergrass and BeBe Winans and the Broadway hit "RAISIN" starring Peabo Bryson and Lynette Hawkins-Stephens. He was nominated for a NAACP Award for “Best Musical Director for his work with the musical “Black Olive”. On stage this man knows how to grab an audience.
